Applying as a Transfer student is different than applying as a high school senior. Not only do requirements differ in terms of standardized tests, recommendations, deadlines, and essays, but in many cases it can be more difficult to gain admission as a transfer student. - Develop schedule to meet all transfer admissions and interview deadlines
- Brainstorm transfer college application essay topics with the student, guide, review and edit essays
- Coordinate all supplementary application materials, including resume
- Counsel on obtaining effective college professor recommendations
- Prepare for transfer college interviews, including mock interviews and evaluation
- Provide referrals for specialized services, including test preparation
- Guidance on selecting the most appropriate college from acceptances received
- Prepare the student for the transition to a new college
