Getting Ready for Senior Year – College Essay and Application Camp
Summer 2015
This session is designed for rising high school Seniors who are in the final stages of determining where they will apply to in the fall. As this session is very interactive, it is intended only for students and enrollment is limited. A laptop is required.

The Basics – Thinking Ahead
Spring 2015
This seminar is designed for Parents with students in the 8th and 9th grades who want to have a better understanding of the admissions process as well as affording college.
This session will serve as an introduction to today's admission trends in order to develop strength of curriculum and distinct extracurricular profiles to ensure that your child is well-prepared for today’s playing field.
Summer 2015
This session is designed for rising high school Seniors who are in the final stages of determining where they will apply to in the fall. As this session is very interactive, it is intended only for students and enrollment is limited. A laptop is required.
Topics include:
- The Essay – Students will be introduced to brainstorming activities for developing a personal statement and will walk away with a draft in hand. Discussion will include essay tips, common mistakes to avoid, as well as best ways to ensure that a student’s personality comes through.
- The Application – Students will be introduced to the various types of college applications, expectations and requirements. Students will establish their online account and will be guided as they complete the Common Application while in attendance.
- Letters of Recommendation – Students will learn who to ask and how to facilitate the process.
- Senior Year Timeline – Students will learn how to put together a game plan for managing their application process.
College Planning Process – Part I
