POKEMON 2-Day Camp (presentation skills)
-My son really enjoyed this camp and the discussions. I liked that he was given an assignment to practice research skills by choosing particular Pokemon. I really like classes like these that take my son's interests and give them practical applications.

STEAM Project : Egg Drop
" Seven-year-old George had a great time in class and finishing his build afterwards. He had thought he might want my help during class but I let him try it on his own first and he did great. I wasn't paying close attention to what was happening in the class but I did hear him laughing and talking with Ms. Stephenie. I can tell that she put together a fun and engaging class from the way that it inspired George to problem-solve and be creative. His little brother wasn't old enough to sit through the class but George had talked it up so much afterward that he thought it would be fun to try some egg drop tests of his own. It was very cute to see them both so excited about it, even if it did make a bit of a mess :) I wish I had a picture to attach of his creation but I wasn't quick enough! "

STEAM Project - Making Leprechaun Traps (learning presentation and STEM skills)
"My children —6 & 8 — really enjoyed the class. Teacher reviews a brief history of leprechaun traps and different styles, explaining how they worked and why. Encouraged kids to use their creativity and items around the house to construct their own traps. Provided time in class for construction and feedback while working as well as show and share at the end. This class encourages turn-taking when communicating in a group, staying positive, and sharing ideas with different friends. "

Piano* (1996-2007)
Erica W.- began as a beginner and under 6 months was able to perform a piano solo piece at Ilene Hebert's annual Piano Recital
Miwa W.- began learning the piano at age 4 after seeing her sister, Erica, take lessons
Daniel N.- couldn't play a single line without getting out of his seat, soon began to complete his piano pieces before leaving his seat.
Christine O'H - was a very shy beginner, and soon became comfortable playing piano pieces wonderfully and confidently for family gatherings
Violin* (1996-2009)
Diana W. - auditioned for a local Youth String Symphony and was accepted.
Chelsea - was unable to play through her school pieces- always making up notes. She soon learned to read the notes and played elegantly.
Lisa M. - came for lessons with the goal to be seated in the first seats of her elementary school orchestra, and to perform well on her solo pieces for a Youth String Symphony. She accomplished her goals and even continued to play the violin throughout her high school career.

Erica W.- began as a beginner and under 6 months was able to perform a piano solo piece at Ilene Hebert's annual Piano Recital
Miwa W.- began learning the piano at age 4 after seeing her sister, Erica, take lessons
Daniel N.- couldn't play a single line without getting out of his seat, soon began to complete his piano pieces before leaving his seat.
Christine O'H - was a very shy beginner, and soon became comfortable playing piano pieces wonderfully and confidently for family gatherings
Violin* (1996-2009)
Diana W. - auditioned for a local Youth String Symphony and was accepted.
Chelsea - was unable to play through her school pieces- always making up notes. She soon learned to read the notes and played elegantly.
Lisa M. - came for lessons with the goal to be seated in the first seats of her elementary school orchestra, and to perform well on her solo pieces for a Youth String Symphony. She accomplished her goals and even continued to play the violin throughout her high school career.
Kerry F. - learned from the very beginning and began playing Christmas pieces and fun music to perform in front of her house guests.
Valerie G. - wanted to play a different instrument, while her older sister was learning the piano
Christina M. - a peer who wanted to improve her techniques, soon moved up in her orchestra seating

Crystal- had difficult time learning vocabulary at first, but soon mastered techniques, and math grades improved
Celine- scored a perfect 36 on her Reading after being tutored weekly for a month (2011)

Christina - needed help studying for her SAT, learned to lower her test anxiety, she scored 150 points higher on her retake (2001)
