Hello, everyone!

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Steph. I have been tutoring for a very very long time, and never knew that I would end up in the Education profession. I have always wanted to become a medical physician or dentist, and I was very head-strong about becoming one, that I didn't realize that the profession would not suit me. Sure, I wanted to save and help people, however, I could do the same in education. And I can contribute my time to others in need by volunteering in community services and hospitals. My sister became a doctor, never realizing that she would end up in this profession and she loves it right now.

Regardless of where one's passion would be, my personal suggestion is to strive to do the best in everything you can and get involved with, such as preparing for SATs or AP exams, playing a musical instrument, playing sports, or volunteering in community services, because you never know what you might end up doing in the future. Do you want to let that one slip-up in your GPA ban you from pursuing that college admissions of your dream college?

Did I know that when my teachers gave me an opportunity, my first job, to teach my peers and tutor others, that I would still end up doing it 16 years later? No. However, I would have to say, that if I didn't do my best, take responsibility, relate to the students, or if I didn't help any of my students progress, boost their grades and scores, then I wouldn't feel comfortable calling myself an educator or tutor.

I am thrilled to be given the opportunities that I had, and look forward to many more. As a teacher, I am also learning from my students. Tutoring is something that I am passionate about. I figured it was time that I started my blog and website about my services. I also became an Educational Advisor/Consultant (basically an Independent Guidance Counselor) last year so that I can continue to help advise students on high school/college planning, scholarship opportunities, interviews, essays, college applications and more.

Thank you for reading this, and I hope you continue to follow my blogs.

Steph
